Bespoke Analytics

To answer specific questions that are not covered by the standard measures, our highly skilled analysts as well as our consultant team is available for support. Combining the knowledge and skills available in a ‘data science’ approach means that we are able to deliver real understanding in areas that have not previously been explored.

Insights

Our experienced consultants will review your data and information, and present meaningful insights to both management and clinicians. We adopt the role of a ‘critical friend’ providing impartial oversight of the measures key to delivering safe and efficient services. We offer flexibility in the delivery of these insights, providing reports, delivering presentations and attending the relevant internal meetings for a more discursive review.

Training

Our tools are intuitive, but we provide training to ensure that users are able to ‘self serve’ as much as possible. Training can be delivered remotely through Microsoft Teams© which includes a screen share option. Additionally, on-site training is available when necessary, both for individuals and groups of up to six.

Our consultants are expert in assessing benchmarked data and communicating clearly with clients what it really means. We engage closely with client teams to make sure that local factors are taken into consideration, another part is communicating learning from other organisations.

Risk-adjusted benchmarking

Risk-adjusted benchmarking uses standardised ratios to allow you to compare your organisation’s outcomes, e.g. mortality or readmissions, against the national average after adjustment for factors that are beyond the control of your organisation.  This highlights the areas in which your organisation is performing above or below expected ranges.

Performance analysis

Our InFocus Command Centre view puts all the indicators you need to understand your service in one place. By drilling into the indicators where significant variance is reported, either compared with previous months or the peer, users can immediately see how that part of the organisation is performing in all other measures.

Data visualisation and extraction

The visual language in InFocus is consistent, ensuring that once users know how to interpret one indicator, they know how to interpret all of them. Simple colour coding based on recognized statistical processes in conjunction with immediate access to the patient data that the indicators are reporting on, means the user can both see where issues are and pull the records to look in more detail.

Market share analysis

Market share analysis helps you to explore both your organisations activity and that of your key competitors for a particular care setting or area of interest. Understanding trends in activity will allow you to identify where you are gaining or losing a share of the market.
