The framework supports the digital transformation of public sector services in the UK by finding appropriate specialists to deliver agile software development, and facilitating easy access to suppliers with the right capabilities. This is the first year that the framework will be managed by Crown Commercial Services, taking over from the Government Digital Service. The fourth iteration of the framework comes with an estimated value of £1.57 billion. As an approved digital outcomes supplier, companies must comply with the technology code of practice and work according to the government service design manual. Suppliers are approved for an initial 12-month contract, with an optional one-year extension. Dr Foster’s presence on the framework means it can provide the public sector with the specialist skills that digital transformation demands. The team is looking forward to supporting the UK’s public sector to successfully design, build and deliver digital outcomes.
